Culture of enterprise

Meet John. John is an information technology officer. John does not enjoy interacting with people. Meet Jane. Jin is Chief Financial Officer. Jane does not enjoy interacting with technology. John and Jane both working at XYZ Corporation, an engineering company consists of 75 employees. Jane on her several hours ahead of entering data into an Excel spreadsheet that you need and then manipulated into accounting system; however, it is unable to open any applications including email. Jinjun calls for assistance but don't feel like answering that leaves a message. John achieved his voicemail, and decides to e-mail Jane asked to reboot and let him know if that corrects the problem, but then will leave for today. Let us not forget that Jane opened the e-mail application! Does this sound familiar?

Scenarios such as one above are not uncommon in the workplace today. Bridging the gap between it and the rest of the organization starts with a change in corporate culture in information technology. Let's take a step back and consider it. Information technology is the development, implementation and maintenance of computer hardware and software systems to organize and share information electronically. In many organizations depend role it once implementation of the core business technologies such as e-mail, file and print sharing and desktop systems. At this stage, the focus moves to maintain such systems and nothing more. While this approach is appropriate for some organizations and become rule seems to exist a clear break between him and the rest of the organization.

I think it should include the role of all the things mentioned above plus many other vital functions to ensure the success of the organization. I normally give priority to sit down with business users and ask them to show how to do their work so that I can get a sense of the challenges they face. They even do not understand how to take action, and purpose, to make recommendations for improvement. Once I know the challenges they face, I can suggest ways to improve or even solved by using the software/hardware technologies. It is important to be aware of and understand the value of new technological solutions available in the market. If that can solve a significant challenge of new technology and further research and evaluation. Make business users posts more efficient through the use of technology is critical to organizations not only for productive purposes, but also to allow more time spent on the important tasks and career development. It is important to understand exactly what is provided by the customer (products or services) in an information technology strategy aims to boost business development.

When business users start their careers in the new organization, enjoy working with them on their first day not only to acquaint them with the basics of organization from the perspective of technology, but also to help in how to use software applications that will be used every day. Displays keyboard shortcuts and tips and tricks that can make their work easier, as well as assured to know that you really care and available if assistance is needed. It's easy for it professionals to forget that most users do not use these applications as long as they have and more importantly, most users use technology. Imagine how much productivity can be achieved when users know how to use applications that drive their day. Information technology Pack welcome new users is an invaluable tool you used successfully for many years. Welcome packs have been developed for my clients explain how the various technologies in the Organization are different methods used, engage, assistance policies that help specific expectations for new users at the beginning of their careers.

Corporate culture has a direct impact on the overall success of the organization. Implementation of internal strategic initiatives to achieve this incentive is corporate culture. Integration of younger generations in the workplace has led to increased need for social media avenues internal collaboration and communication of knowledge. Intermediate technology can provide to these social interactions – whether for training or cooperation. Online training video-methods for interactive sessions help to meet the different ways people learn and absorb knowledge and career. Intranet site provides the company with the "voice"-a place where staff learning from each other, success stories, testimonials and general direction of the business. Linking working together through technology enhances company morale and increase staff satisfaction.

If the above scenario of John's "leave me alone", but "challenge me to improve your business with technology". And should make clear information technology institutions with open-door policy, and encourage users to come to for help when needed. Positive attitude it is essential to resolve the challenges business users don't realize even exist. As an information technology consultant, I do not get excited about new technology, I get excited about new technology, how can business problems. Start each day with one question in mind, "what business challenges can solve for my clients today?" philosophies and methods described above will lead to a change in corporate culture within the institution and the essence of what is "business vision. Focus technology embodies ".
